Following his critically acclaimed albums Voice of Assisi and Voice of Joy, Friar Alessandro presents his beautiful new album Voice of Peace, with a universal message of spreading harmony throughout the world. The album includes many famous melodies taken from popular and classical music repertoire including Amazing Grace; Ave Maria; Here I am, Lord, and many more. Review: A marvelous voice - In my opinion, this is the best of Friar Alessandro's three albums. His voice is so full and mellow; his range is exceptional. Hope he makes another album of marvelous music. Review: I recommend this CD for those who know and enjoy hymns ... - I feel blessed assurance daily when I listen to Friar's music. The spiritual melodic sounds that come from his spirit are transmitted to the depths of my soul. I hear the angelic sound from heaven. His gift of voice from God is my blessing. I recommend this CD for those who know and enjoy hymns in diverse languages. I find myself humming or singing along. My spirit is lifted up!

Used CD slight disappointment for group use.
Since I use a portable CD player--possibly this is reason--the music came across as "heavy".. That is the term used by a friend whom I asked to play on her machine. Her response was the same. We had hoped to use this as a backdrop to the beginning 20 minutes of a tea, but decided that it didn't feel peaceful. Our hopes had been to present this newer voice to a broad audience.

A most uplifting, emotional and deeply spiritual interpretation of some beautiful sacred music. Friar Alessandro has a wonderful tenor voice and gives these well known pieces a new and strong meaning. Peace and beauty emanate.

My mother who is 101, listens to his music every night! His voice is pure and uplifting. It has brought happiness and peace. Her favorites are all there, like Panus Angelicus. We love all his music and just wish there were more!!
