I know it says that it fits only for the 2006-2008 model but i was wondering if it would fit a 2009 is? they look very similar.

2006-2012 body style same fits just fine

This is just grill correct? So I'll still have the chrome trim showing around it?

Yes. You will retain chrome trim

Why does this not fit a 2010?

Fits Lexus is250-is350 2is models only. Research your car model. IF doesnt fit send it back. Lol
