The collection also provides a pair of kitchen shears for snipping s or opening packages, a 9-inch sharpening steel for keeping all the blades in working order, and a hardwood block for safely storing all the pieces. Each features a Friodur ice-hardened blade precision forged from a single piece of high-carbon stainless steel and crafted to hold its edge for a long time. Ergonomic, polypropylene handles offer a smooth shape without rivets or gaps, while a full tang runs from the blade to the end of each handle for added control and balance. The detail of the new stainless-steel cap on the end of the handle with the Twin logo stamp provides an update to a Henckels classic. For best results, wash the knives by hand using a mild and dry completely.
