Wig Control Spray for Human & Synthetic Hair 355 ml by African Essence

I absolutely love the African Essence Wig Control Spray! Not only does it work as a fantastic conditioner, leaving my wig soft and manageable, but the nozzle also dispenses perfectly without any issues. It’s easy to apply and provides great hold without stickiness. I highly recommend it for anyone looking to keep their wigs in top shape!

This product is incredible, anyone suffering thinning hair or hair loss. It's created for wigs or synthetic hair, but for bio hair it's also amazing! Would recommend it for all hair types and has given me hope for my own hair and transforms hair toppers/wigs, can't praise it enough

Comes in a pump spray bottle Re-usable ozone friendly as not pressurised spray can ( once used Wash out the pump dispenser and add fertiliser to it for plants or peel off label & use as soap dispenser ) If you have to wear a wig like me or synthetic hair extensions I strongly recommend this product If you know how to use it properly You can’t go wrong . So I will share a few of my tips with you Firstly you will need A large tooth comb A plastic zip food bag Two claws to separate the sections of hair whilst combing A draw ( yes the type in the bedside cabinet ) This ensures that the hair won’t budge whilst your brushing it . Open the draw . Then holding the extension like you would a pigtail in the middle bunched up in one hand & then using The other hand to hold the draw open Spread the hair along the top of the draw . Try to keep it as flat as possible . Then using the hand holding the hair . Hold the hair up in the air . Then close the draw carefully with the other hand . This allows you to take control of the hair falling nice and straight .The hair should then look like the one in the photo below in the draw. Then I spray the hair all over ,for synthetic hair extensions spray front and back I give it an all over spray twice Or if it’s a wig then just the outside layer of hair , not the underneath . Use enough product so that when you run your hands through it it is wet to the touch 🥰Once product sprayed all over It adds shine , lustre , brings life back to the hair , makes the hair more manageable, helps comb through stubborn knots & kinks The way I use it is As in photos below Spray with wig spray, it’s usually the ends that are most problematic. That’s where the plastic zip food bag comes in handy , also the excess wig spray can be caught in the bag & used again Give the ends an extra squirt . Then very carefully zip the bag up as in photo below making sure you don’t zip it too tight . This allows the wig spray the capacity to help liven up the ends , thus allowing extra deep conditioning leave on overnight . Then next morning using a wide tooth comb . I section off a large proportion of the hair . Then once the bit I’ve brushed with ease thanks to wig spray I attach a clip to the brushed hair . I keep adding bits from the clump brushing it then adding it to the clip side that’s been brushed . Once product sprayed all over It adds shine , lustre , brings life back to dull hair , makes the hair more manageable, helps comb through with ease & helps illuminate stubborn knots & kinks . Nasty product. Leaves hair feeling sticky and more full of tangles than before! And I'm taking care to use it sparingly and from 10 to 12" away, like it says on the bottle. A lavender wig of mine ended up with pink splotches on it! I was initially so impressed by the reviews, I bought 2 bottles. Waste of money! For a start, the first bottle didn't spray at all and the second was very stiff and hurt my fingers. As for the liquid inside, see above. I had to try to recover the wigs I used it on by spraying them copiously with water and running my fingers through the hair and using a wide tooth comb to try to remove it - and as I said, beware of "unusual" hair colours as it started to leech the colour out of mine. Rubbish product! I'll stick to a non-sulphate ordinary conditioner with oil mixed with water in a mister bottle to condition/de-tangle and at a fraction of the cost. Not happy at all.
