I absoloutely love these. They're excellent quality - a little stiff to open, but I'd rather that and they hold my fabric securely than too loose and the fabric slipping. All my clips arrived intact, no issues there. I know that the box they ship in is a random selection, but I have to admit, I was thrilled when I got the box I was hoping for (the peter rabbit one - obviously not a licensed Peter Rabbit, it's very much a victorian easter card style rabbit with the words 'The Tale of peter Rabbit' on it, but a beautiful box, and very much my aesthetic.) Back to the clips - I can see so many uses for these little clips over and above just sewing with them, but these are absoloutely my favourite method of holding fabric together or hemming. Pins still have their place, of course, but these little clips have become a staple in my sewing box.

Us sewing peeps are well known for being picky! We take a lot of time and trouble to make things and want them spot on. So read on for an honest review, from someone with no affiliation and not a competitor. It arrived in a Jiffy style envelope and I immediately thought it must be damaged. As it happened, there was only two very small dents near a corner (see photo). These need to be sent out in cardboard boxes to protect them. A jiffy envelope is not sufficient. The tin: I got the Peter Rabbit and it’s definitely cute overload. It’s not very big and easy to store on your shelves or in a drawer. Quantity: I counted 100 and half of one. Will keep the half in case I break one to repair. Quality: They have a pretty good grip on them. Better than my previous ones from elsewhere. They have bull noses and they are not sharp as I’ve read on another review. Some do however, have a small little node of plastic on the back ends that don’t attach to your fabric. A few I noticed are a little sharp and could pull, but not cut your fabric. This is part of the manufacturing process as they are clearly moulded and then cut off. If this does bother you, make a cup of tea/coffee or a glass of your favourite wine and sit down with a little fine sandpaper and rub them smooth. It wouldn’t take long at all. Overall, happy. Shame about the packaging and the small dents to the tin, as we all want things perfect. But I won’t send them back for such a little thing.

The clips seem to be strong, probably a bit stiffer to use than my current ones. Having them in a tin is a nice touch. Unfortunately the packaging was damaged and the tin was bent and the handle pushed in. It was impossible to open the tin. I couldn’t be bothered sending it back as I needed the extra clips for the project I’m working on. I pulled and pushed the handle till I eventually got the handle over the tin. It now opens. I pummelled the dented tin until most of the dents were removed or reduced. So the criticism isn’t of the product itself but of the inadequate packaging and rough handling by the courier. ( pics are after I tried to remove the dents) Shame, as it’s a pretty little tin.

Really pleased with my purchase of small clips in a very lovely tin. Great price. Really happy.

Maravillosa sorpresa! Las pinzas de muy buena calidad y vienen en una practica, optimizada y preciosa cajita de hojalata pintada, que no me esperaba. Parece una tonteria, pero la cajita es super comoda para tener las pinzas ordenadas y preciosa a la vez. Gracias

Ho acquistato questo pacchetto, dopo averne acquistate di meno (a prezzi superiori) su altri siti famosi. Che dire son utilissime, a dire il vero non ho mai pensato che potessero essere usate per il cucito.. io le ho acquistate principalmente per chiudere tutte le confezioni alimentari che apro.. patatine, biscotti, grissini, ecc... Ne ho acquistate tante perché comunque qualcuna mi sparisce sempre... qualcuna l'ho regalata a mia madre e mia sorella ... e poi hanno questo bel cofanetto. Certo è scomodo il cofanetto per prenderle al volo, personalmente ne tengo una ventina in un piccolo contenitore accanto le posate che utilizzo per prenderle al volo. Davvero belle, funzionali, resistenti ed economiche. Spero che la mia recensione sia stata utile.

Die Klammern sind super, ich bin über die Qualität und Stärke positiv überrascht. Fürs Original bin ich immer zu geizig gewesen und ich würde diese Clips weiterempfehlen. Die Dose ist super süß und praktisch.

Le mollettine sono davvero carine e utili, sembrano resistenti e mi serviranno per i mei lavori di cucito ed uncinetto.
